well, bad weather in china, so dar's flight kena delayed. suppose to take the 7pm flight from Lijiang - Kunming but delayed till 930pm. So by the time they reach Kunming will be about 1020pm. But the flight from Kunming - Singapore is 1040pm so....confirm not enuff time to board the connection flight back to singapore....haiz....
while i was having my cheesecake at the cheesecake cafe, he called me say tonite confirm cannot come back le...cos they missed the connection flight....den hor...worse is tomorrow no flight from Kunming to Singapore...gota wait till monday morning then have.....*peng*......so tonite they have to check in a hotel in Kunming and his colleague is trying to see can connect to Hkg or not cos there got more flight back to Singapore.....wat a screw up man....
anyway gota wait till morning then know ba.....sleepy liao....nitey nite.... :O

Chickenpox Vaccine + Other Errands
super tired, woke up late for appointment to Dr Ong for ZoZo's checkup....everyone all slept until almost 9am...hee..zozo also...lucky he know it's weekend, no need to wake up so early....
so quickly let him hv his milk, rest awhile bathe him, den went to aglow clinic le. Objective is to review his ears again, make sure the infection is totally gone! 2ndly is to see if he's fit, den decide which vaccine to administer him ba...
got there, mum always use this reason to cut Q...hiak hiak...she told fiza/siti that we have to rush to airport pick relatives (i was still parking the car, paiseh lah...so let aunty do her job..fwahahah) true enuff, we dun hv to wait so long...only wait for 3 more babies den ZoZo's turn le...haha..hai shi wo mama li hai!
well, confirm chop chop by Dr Ong ZoZo's ears has fully recoverd le...hooray!!! while contemplating to take wat jab, Dr Ong was advising chickenpox wan first loh, since MMR most kids has already had the jab, so measles wont kena so easily, pnuemococcal still be the next in Q..since the virus for chickenpox is always so uncertain...I don't want him to have 2 jabs at one go, so just has 1 for today....give me as a monthly jab better lah...
after that we went down to eat the 328 laksa at United Sq, mum's favourite! den i kpo ask the lady where has next door dumpling uncles gone to? she said they didnt want to continue cos the landlord raise another 125% rental...omg!! my eyes almost dropped out when she shared this....haiz....too bad...those uncles food are very very good de, whoever knows whether they have moved to anywhere...please please let me know...
went home, took a nap cos was damn tired, but ZoZo was so cute, climb over me, disturb me, but i still sleep..cos bth...fwaahahah...den woke up, had late lunch, den after 4pm went to shi ma lu with Jie to buy the 9 Koi fish painting...

June - wtfxxing month
WORK
phew....finally i'm alive in this blog again..guess many of my frenz wld hv thought i hv long given up updating liao ya...hello hello...im not always so "maggie mee" timing wan hor...
super long long month for me....it's year end closing lah, many many many things to do. seriously unbelievable, my office calendar is always full of invites for meetings....meetings after meetings, many a times are back to back, i even have lesser time having lunch with my buddies ann and rachel...
ZoZo + Family + Problem
work aside, my zozo is of cos my 1st priority lah...last 2 weekend i actually signed up for a Great Parenting Forum organised by Abbot. Each parent $10, cannot bring kids that are below 12yrs. Ok loh, then gota leave him at home with mum then. I've never never interested in such forum wan leh...somore from 12-5pm...wakaoz super long sia. But there were 7 speakers lah, from doctors, counsellors, director from shicida method school and even special guest celebrity. Huang Biren and Wong LiLin....they are the last 2 speakers, which i find it's the most time wasted session, can't be bothered to listen to how they share they experiences lah....lucky put them the last one.
Light lunch was provided, not bad eh...somore they gave pediasure goodie bag. Just try the milk loh, to me i find no harm is mixing the milk as and when. Cos just having 1 brand may not be a good thing too as he may be too dependent on it le.
The first speaker was the BEST....he was Mr Arthur Ling, he's the Director, Head of Family Services for Touch Community Services whereby he shared alot of very pragmatic and simple words to understand about Family and especially the topic that he's sharing is Balancing Work & Family - How to Involve Your Husband. This is a very very very good talk to walk those "sleeping" fathers who's not so much involve in their son's/daughter's daily, hourly, every minute, every seconds of their growing up. Solid example is my husband....haiz...lately i juz find that i can't communicate with him...
I'm already so busy at work, but when I'm home, I will try to make sure i spend time with my ZoZo, cos by the time we get home. we only have at most 3-4hrs with him!! And he will be asleep, then next day, at most another 0.5-1hr then we are off to work already! Hey, wat is so important on the fxxxing Euro? Or rather Live matches? The odds? I used to enjoy this game too, but ever since he became a total freak in following almost every single matches, spent his whole fxxxing time on the laptop monitoring, reading the odds TO GAMBLE!!! I start to hate and gets turn off by this game....am no longer a Liverpool fan, no longer interested in the updates of the players, no longer interested in Portugal, Spain, Chealsea watever F lah.....im totally pissed. I don't understand y man r like that, they rather stick theie arse on the sofa, staring at the laptop, dozing off with the hands in an odd position, but still not willing to go to bed. Still can say, aiya am watching lah...just resting my eyes....CRAP!!! Anyway I gave up, cant be bothered....i rather go smell my son's head, hands, feet, every part of his body while he's asleep and sleep close to him...

Jurong Bird Park
Had a long long walked........my our first visit to Jurong Bird Park!!! Imagine, jiak ka arni dua this is then my first time there....kekeke...not surprising lah huh i guess.
Since Mum and Jie went on a cruise so had to bring Mini along (in a way she can help me carry my barang and look after ZoZo also ya). Lynn jio us to go since her fren has the 4 free adult card pass. Just go look see look see lah....
By the time we got there, both DarDar and myself was famished. Head straight to Bongo Burgers for lunch. Damn expensive leh....we had 3 sets lunch, 2 BBQ chicken, 1 fish & chips, 3 drinks, cost me $37+!!!! WTF!!! Haiz....nvm lah.....just eat loh....
By the time the Goh Family arrived we were almost done and our walking journey can begin..... If I know at the entrance the staff didn't really check ah....I wouldn't have bought another ticket for $18 for Mini!!! Basket....anyways....
Weather was hot, so first stop we went was the Penguin house (more cooling lah). Cute penguins!!! They look so unreal, ZoZo simply loves this place as he loves looking and chasing after the birds!!!
Well, we were in time for the 3pm show, just sat down and see loh. Ok lah, not as fantastic but commendable. Afterwhich we just walked and walked and walked and took pictures...mostly my ZoZo lah, and try to take some "exotic" birds loh since we are there.
Found a small airconditioned coffee place, sat down enjoyed the aircon and had some sprite to cool down man.....My little one lagi enjoyed...as he was happily sipping the sprite his papa feed. Behind this place was an open loft, the so small colour birds are fly openly in this area for visitors to take pics and gota pay $2 for a small container of bird's food to feed them. And they will automatically come nearer to you. Aiya.....what for...so expensive, the birds are all there for you to take the shot...we just snap and snap and snap loh.
When we were ready to proceed with our walk, we walking infront excecpt ZoZo and his papa. Suddenly, we heard some commotion.....aiyo...I group of ah poo neh neh...came and grab my ZoZo busy taking video shots of him. 1 aunty neh neh grab him from another uncle and starting smooching him!!! Wakaoz...almost fainted.....aiya boh pian...suddenly he became their "star"...when they left, I quickly use wet wipes and clean him....hee......no choice lah...hygiene mah..
By the time we are walking out, it's almost 6pm liao. Can't imagine we have actually walked from 2pm siah....we headed to IMM for dinner at....Mac Donald's...fwahahaha...with my ZoZo around it's usually our meal hideout. Since my 4 redeemed burgers are expiring tomorrow, may as well eat it today loh with the Goh Family around, can share with them mah....
After dinner we went Daiso and walk walk....again....too many things..see until i blur. Anyway my darling boy had a good time today. He was tired, so are we.....pics will upload later...tired liao....

2 days Leave + Journey Begins Today
Has to take to days leave to look after ZoZo. Mum was also down so no choice. Sunday nite didn't sleep, was sponging him the whole nite. Diana and Mini came in and help at 2am+ till almost 4am. He's feve went up to as high as 39.6 in the middle of the nite...haiz...dunno y lidat...
Anyway, Monday morning Diana took send us to Dr Ong's clinice at United Square to see him. Well, as usual loh, to doctors it's very normal wan...but at least he gave us the assurance that this is a very common fit that will not affect any of his development. And he has also confirmed that he doesn't have any sorethroat or any uclers (signs of HFMDs)....this is now the worse airborne virus happening this period.
By the time we got home, it's was almost lunch hour, Mum stayed home and rest in the morning as she's still coughing badly. By mid noon, I bth liao...eyes closing liao...went to take a long nap until 6+ den wake up....*yawns*...
Before dinner, ZoZo was still doing very well, at least his temperature was that high, but suddenly after dinner, his temperature went up to 38.7 again...aiyo....better take another day leave and look after through out the nite again....
At about 11pm, his temperature was very good, just that he started running nose again. At least without the fever he can sleep better. Was monitoring him until 1am, his temperature was normal for the past 2 hours. Well....so I better not sponge him, incase he gets too cold. Went to sleep as well....suddenly at 4am+ Dar said ZoZo's forehead is hot....aiyo when take the temperature he was 38.9 again....*faint*!!! Quickly started to sponge him again. His head, his body...until about 630am...finally his temperature went down to 37.6.
Since Mini, was awake already, I got her in to takeover while I sleep....very sleepy liao...bth...at least when his temperature is down, more fang xin (relieve) to sleep lah....will den start to get tired...if not naturally the energy will just last as long as it can.....
Woke up at 10am+.....since my appointment has already scheduled for today....may as well go loh....what appointment ah?? Fixing my braces loh......ai swee mah....itz lidat de...so my real journey begins today......This is actually my 3rd visit le, but the 1st and 2nd was to insert the separator to 3 teeth first, 2nd one was to take out the separator and put in the metal ring. Today is then fixing of the braces.....Suppose to be last week, but after the extraction of my 3 teeth (Dr Alfred Cheng said must extract de) my gums will still very pain...datz y i adjourned it till today.
Mum, ZoZo and Mini tagged along, since take taxi to and fro, so they kpo kpo loh, in a way also to bring ZoZo go "gaigai" awhile lah...cos the whole of last weekend did not go anywhere at all...Only took me about half and hour to fix on the metal braces....not bad lah....lucky no abrasion to my lips for now....just felt abit uneasy when chewing my food...
Went home, since I'm on leave and both Mum and ZoZo was better le, so I decided to take a quick shower and go Nail Bliss do my pedi and manicure. Aiya...now no eneryg to do it myself lah, get ppl do it faster and neater mah...kekeke....then also took the opportunity to go for my haircut. If not wait til weekends, I lagi no time.
Anyway DarDar came pick me up after he knock off. Bdw, he has just joined Molex on the 8th May. Package and benefits not bad lah, just that the distance his so damn far....aiya no prawn fish oso good lah...wat can a beggar choose woh..right?

Happy Mother's Day
This is my 2nd year celebrating this day....but today and this year is not a good one....
Mum hasn't been feeling well again for the past few days. Yesterday she was so weak till she need Dr Tan to come in for house visit, but he wasn't free to come by. Diana brought her to see him instead. We didn't plan to go anywhere since Mum's not feeling too good.
ZoZo was as sticky to Mum. No choice lah, if he hears her voice (coughing) and not seeing her or let her carry, he will cry. So mum cuddled him for awhile in the evening and at night when she was better, she fed him milk and patted him to bed together with me.
At 6+am this morning, when I touched ZoZo's forehead, it was hot. Took his temperature was 38.1 degrees. After feeding him with milk I quickly gave him his paracetamol. When he woke up at 9+am, his temperature went down alittle. After he passed motioned we quickly go bathe him to bring down his temperature. He was very grouchy. After feeding him I patted him and let him take a short nap.
When he woke up, he was still ok. So we prepared to go collect Dar's car (send to repray the door) Before we left, his temperature was at 38.9. While I was preparing to give him Bifen, mum suddenly shouted for us.....ZoZo had his 2nd febrile fits attack at about 215pm. Still as panick and frightened, but we quickly place him on his side. His saliva was oozing out from his mouth, his eyes rolled up again, face turned pale, lips turned blackish.....we kept calling out his name to keep him awake. Used ice water to sponge his head. He started shivering and shaking. We covered him with blanket. He was back to his senses after 1-2mins. My hands were trembling again....but fortunately we know how to handle better this time.
Really damn lucky we have yet to step out to go collect the car. If not, left with Mum, Jie and Mini, they sure panick until duno what to do. We continued to let him lay on side, when he starting whining, at least the stone in our heart dropped. Quickly I fed him with Bifen. He was shivering as he was cold but his temperature was high. He clenched his fits very tightly and still not relaxing.....quickly we massage him to loosen his muscles. Slowly he starts to get alittle tired and drowsy, so he slept. While he was sleeping we took our chance to sponge him non-stop to bring his temperature down....
When he woke up, he was kinda weak, didn't have the strength to walk on his own....haiz...when he's about to walk steadily, now he kena fever....haiz....In the evening, suddenly his temperature shot up again, his lips was kinda darken abit as well, his skin was alittle flower like patch....we quickly sponge and monitor him just in case he has another fit attack.....
Anyway to be continued in my next post, gota go look after him as he just woke up from his nap....God Bless my ZoZo....

He started shivering and shaking. We covered him with blanket. He was back to his senses after 1-2mins. My hands were trembling again....but fortunately we know how to handle better this time.
Really damn lucky we have yet to step out to go collect the car. If not, left with Mum, Jie and Mini, they sure panick until duno what to do. We continued to let him lay on side, when he starting whining, at least the stone in our heart dropped. Quickly I fed him with Bifen. He was shivering as he was cold but his temperature was high. He clenched his fits very tightly and still not relaxing.....quickly we massage him to loosen his muscles. Slowly he starts to get alittle tired and drowsy, so he slept. While he was sleeping we took our chance to sponge him non-stop to bring his temperature down....
When he woke up, he was kinda weak, didn't have the strength to walk on his own....haiz...when he's about to walk steadily, now he kena fever....haiz....In the evening, suddenly his temperature shot up again, his lips was kinda darken abit as well, his skin was alittle flower like patch....we quickly sponge and monitor him just in case he has another fit attack.....
Anyway to be continued in my next post, gota go look after him as he just woke up from his nap....God Bless my ZoZo....

Singapore Flyer - 26th April 08
We had our JLL Family Day yesterday. Spouses and children are also entitled to free tickets to ride on the Singapore Flyer. FOC leh, of cos all go lah....
The program starts from 10am - 3pm. Since parking lots there are limited we decided to go early. Anyway by the time we reach there it was almost 1030am liao. Weather was super hot siah, my ZoZo face was burning red and he was perspiring so much until his whole head was wet.
Our first stop was to to the Greek Theatre where, goodie bags were given out and Chriss Fossick will be giving his informal speech to all who will be present. Nothing much lah, Magic show for the kids, and balloons. A professional photographer took a family shot for us. Don't when will get it leh...
weather hot leh....but no thanks..the shades are too huge!!
Lunch coupons at the Popeyes were given as well for each adult. By 1130am I was getting hungry liao, so we better go grab some Popeye chicken before the Q starts. Who knows when we went in, the Q was already super long. Fortunately we could still grab a table. By the time Shida and the rest came in, tables were all occupied liao. And I was still q-ing. ZoZo was happily eating his bread while waiting his papa and him waiting for me to get the food.

Well, we took our own sweet time to eat. By the time we are done, my ZoZo fell asleep le. He was too tired as he did not have his am nap. I carried him in my arms for him to sleep. Kenneth and Shirley joined our table after they had their ride. Since ZoZo was sleeping, we just let him sleep until he's awake then we go for the ride. Sunny called and said our photos are exhibited at Greek Theatre...wow...that's fast!! It's was printed out in credit card size with JLL and Singapore Flyers logo. Quite cool.
Fortunately he had almost 1.5 hrs nap, at least he won't be so grouchy and moody. By the time he woke up, it was almost 2pm. Proceed straight for the ride. Nobody de, no Q de, just walk in straight to the capsule. Before we went in, we stood infront of some huge lightning like cameras and smiled dumbl,y, standing in a opened space room, with partitioned for different families. We'll have to hold on to the black credit card size disc for collection of our photos. Damn hi-tech hor, maybe not to some ppl lah, but i suaku mah.... Aiya....just take first lah, see nice or not loh (of cos if want muz pay wan loh)...

The whole capsule on has 6 adults and my ZoZo the only child. Lucky we have so much space for him to walk around. He was so busy walking round and round the bench until we both we as busy snapping photos for him and watching him (incase he fall, walk still not steady) until we didn't really get to enjoy much of the view. The ride was so slow until it was so motionless. Too bad the IR and F1 track still under construction, so nothing much to see lah. Just the skyscrapers, port, Sentosa, buildings, ECP, blah blah blah....all seen before liao loh.... Just to experience this Flyer ride since it's FOC.

Took us not more then 35mins. Came down, went to view the photo we took in that "room", actually very fake wan loh, machiam the pic was taken from outside the capsule in the air. The outline can tell very unreal lah....but I still bought it....haha...well, once in a lifetime mah, since taken le, stupidly paid $15 for it loh.....

Went down to look for a place and feed ZoZo milk. While searching, a caricuture artist was providing free service. Since no just 2 person in the Q, we joined and had our pic drawn by him. I had 1 by myself, cause where DarDar brought ZoZo to (my hp was not with me). By the time they came back, he already started drawing mine. So ZoZo had 1 with his PaPa loh...
Didn't expect we will stay at the Singapore Flyers for so long. By the time ZoZo finished his milk, it was almost 4pm le. Aiyo...so hot and tiring day, somore not enough milk powder to continue to go shopping, so we just went home. Stupid carpark charges cost us $14.40!!! Wakaoz, lucky the ride and lunch was FOC, if not this trip is super expensive......
Last Weekend - Takashimaya Shopping
Since I have so many Taka vouchers (gift from rachelx2, ann, kenneth, cynthia, jacelyn for ZoZo's 1st birthday). So went to shop and make use to buy ZoZo's barang loh...
Left home around 4pm, aiya must always wait till my king have enough of his pm nap den can go out de...what to do, he's the "biggest" liao mah now....
Didn't really shop much lah, zoom in to get the things I want only. Bought my Clarins foundation (1st time use liquid foundation, this is GOOD), went up to get ZoZo's daily neccessities. Detergent, diapers, etc etc.....Dar decided to put the shopping bags in the car while I feed my lil one milk.
When he came back, I went over to Triumph and look see B&P....father & son went to walk around, while waiting for me to try on, my son finished the whole container of rounded egg biscuits....haiz....finally bot wat i wanted....we went for our dinner liao....
Haha....so smart...most of you would have guessed....Mac Donald's again loh....wat else...my son's favourite mah, so confirm eat fast food de.
After dinner we went down to Cold Storage and get more diapers from Pampers. Lucky the voucher can be used at CS. Of course buy more loh....lolx...
Before we left for home, we went over to Aussino to buy bedsheets (again!) aiya I have $25 voucher mah, may as well used it before it expires in a few days time. After looking high and low to just utilise the $25, finally found a very good buy, 1 set at 70% off! Steadis right....just quickly grab and go lah...my son was tired le....

14th - 16th April - Sentosa Siloso Beach Resort
3 days offsite training to Sentosa. Shucks lah....local staff no room to stay cos no budget...hmpf!!! Anyway it was a good Stepping Up - 2008 for all the AFMs. The most talk about thing from this training is we finally get to meet with all the countries AFMs/FCs. At least getting to know them we are able to work more collaboratively and sharing any information that we may not have or realised there's such info in Singapore.
Worse is daily in/out must take the stupid cab, bloody hell must pay out of my pocket first then claim back. Even though it's reimbursable but I hate that cause usually can't see the money back as it will be credited into our bank acct. But when we pay we will see the $$$ out physically from our wallet. Aiya....it's a psychology thingy lah....Then hor, first 2 nites went home oso vomit out all my food, cause firstly the journey was damn far, secondly the journey in/out to Siloso Beach Resort has so many left/right turns, lastly i kept getting the lousy cab drivers who's driving skills was terrible!!!!
Day 1 - MJI external trainers and Amazing Race
It was a fun day 1 activity done by external trainers from MJI. We have alot of activities from communication, strategic thinking, network knowledge and identifying/resolving issues. It's very much work related, but the trainers plan and train it in a way that the sessions were not dry and boring. For example the "Ding-Dong" communication role play, "Hi Harry. Yes Harry. Tell Harry", "The team thinking of how to flip the mat when everyone's feet has to be in the mat"....etc etc....all very fun lah....
Then we proceed to have lunch and prepare for our race. Waited for Shida, Jacq, Farrah and Eng Mui to come from Novena Square as today is day 1 of our Phase 5 Move. Hence, they have to be onsite to handle any defects or issuance of keys etc lah...My group was Jacq, Werdi, JM and Eric. We have to give our group a name. Since we were group #3. I suggest Treetop, and we also have to come up with a posture related to our group name. See attach pic loh...we stood and posed like a Tree loh. And gota have a motto as well. "Treetop, Always on the TOP!!" not bad right, thought of this in just 10 secs ok.... Every group has at least 2 Singaporeans, die lah, mine only me leh.... stress siah if I don't know the places.....

Well, our group was the first to manage to get the task done (everyone members from the team must hold on to a string and form it into a star), but was the last solve the riddle to get the clue to our 1st pitstop. Everyone was already planning their route, but we were still struggling with the answer to the stupid riddle. "A sailor sails on Friday. Lives on an island. Leaves on Monday. But total number of days he stayed was 7. Why is it so?" Finally got the answer.....then we got our clue, ie, to Lau Pa Sat, this clue i can easily figure out lah....We have only $20 to spend, transport we can only take bus, mrt or walk. NO taxis! The more $$$ we save the more points we get.

We were the only group who walked up to catch the bus to the terminal to catch the bus to Harbour Front. Along the way, we see no one, die lah, confirm last one to get our of Sentosa Island liao loh, confirm lose liao loh. Another thing is we cannot run. Then I realised my adidas sneakers started to crack. Walao eh...of all time....no choice lah, buy and buy but hardly wear datz y lah.....so as i walked, the rubber piece by piece kept dropping everywhere i walked...haha heng i wore long pants, if not lagi paiseh....
When we were waiting at the terminal for the Harbour Front bus, our hopes dashed, as we really did not meet a single person from other groups....well, just continue our "Amazing Race" loh and see how amazing we can be loh....When we were travelling out, the journey was so much farther if we were to walked from the other opposite direction where we first departed, no wonder we are the "last" lah.....
Just when our hopes were dashed, while we were approaching one of the bus stop, we saw some familiar faces waiting for the same bus!!! Total we had was 5 groups, and the other 3 groups were all waiting for the bus we were in!!! Hahahaha......the race has began again....the only groups we did not see was Edwins's group. Aiya don't care lah, at least all the 4 groups are on the same bus to Harbour Front.
When we reach HF, we were the first group to alight, so we just walked as fast as we can to reach our station to catch the earliest train to Outram and from there we switch to Raffles Place. Jacq was actually the better traveller. She knows the MRT route better then me....fwahahah of cos lah, I hardly take train de mah....
We quickly board the train to Outram, no one was behind us. Maybe they decided to take the bus as all our pitstop were different. When we were at LPS, we had to find the pitstop person who will give us our next task and clue. My adidas sneakers finally is going to fall apart into 2 liao, I definitely need to get a pair of slippers before I continue the race barefooted. Our 1st task, was to use the extra $5 given by the person at LPS, to buy the cheapest complete meal + drink. We bought chap chai rice and a can of coke, just nice $5. Every member of the group must each the pack of rice and drink the coke. Aiya easy lah, after the travelling and under the hot sun, we just wallop the food and drink in a matter of secs. Next task before we get the clue to the next pitstop was to do a human traffic by walking and criss-crossing each other in the hula hoop placed on the ground. Easy task again lah.....before we proceed to the next pitstop I quickly went into Cheers and get a pair of slippers....

Next pitstop another easy clue, was to Arab Street. But must find Yusoff Dam Briyani first. So we took the train from Raffles Place to Bugis and walked from there. While on the train, I called Rozi for helped and asked exactly where the briyani place was. As we walked along the street we were trying to find. Finally saw, and we saw Farrah and Peiqi's group we there eating the briyani. It's their 1st pitstop niah leh!!! Haha....it's our 2nd liao loh....still got hope to be first hor...lolx....Before we get to enjoy the briyani, we have to follow one of the guys to the Malay Museum first to find some objects and things and we have to perform some Silat moves first then we will have our next clue to the 3rd pitstop. After the performing the Silat moves we have choreograph, we finally had our next meal (again) but it's just sharing a plate of briyani. BEST siah, the briyani, the rice the curry the chicken all very nice lah. Next time must bring my family there and eat liao.

3rd pitstop, Chinatown. We have to find the Coolie House, Chinese Heritage, what is Xie Song Peng and Silat Po. We took a direct bus to South Bridge Road. Again I called for help...haha...called my DarDar and Darreng....they were trying to find the web for the place and what Xie Song Peng was. No one knows...die liao....fortunately we found the Chinese Heritage, and per pax has to pay $7 to go in to find the answers. Of course I go loh, to save $$$ of course only 1 go in lah. Lucky the aunty helped me find wat is Xie Song Peng, it's actually one of the hundred surnames and popular person during the olden days. Silat Po easily was the ex-Singapore name lah. I have to take the snapshot of both to proof that I have found the 2 answers. While I was up there enjoying the aircon, Jacq and JM walked back to Pagoda Street to find where the Coolie house used to be. Once found we have to take a group picture to get more points. Die they cant find.....lucky the pitstop guy directed us there and we quickly took a shot.

Time was running out. Hence we don't have to continue with the last task, ie to blindfold us name what "food" we are eating. The final pitstop person Danny has already started calling every pitstop guys to inform us to proceed to our final destination liao. So we have to proceed to our last pitstop, ie The Merlion. Took the train again to Raffles Place and walked to our final pitstop. Everyone of us was damn tired, hot and thirsty. But we walked as fast as we can hoping to be the first. While we were travelling up the escalator toward The Merlion, Kenneth called and said they reach liao....chey....lose liao loh.....so we were the 2nd team who got to the final pitstop. Well, as the organisers need to tabulate the scores, hence, the winners will only be announced during dinner time. Still got hope hor.....

Peiqi and I kept our belongings in Flora and Jennifer's room. We went back to Siloso and took a shower in their room. We had our team dinner with our Singapore FM team, the Regional Directors, all the Trainees and the MJI team. Announcement for the Amazing Race winners was done by Peter Smyth. The winner was..............Treetop team!!!! Hooray...!!! It's our team!!! We are the winners as we had accumulated the most points. What the prize was $100 for the whole team to for a foot-spa. Chey!!! Anyway it was the fun we had during the race lah, not the prize though...expected JLL wont have much budget wan lah......
Had a great a meal. Everyone was super tired, I've never sweat and walked for so many hours for so many years liao....so after our dinner, we all quickly booked a cab each and went home. Farrah and me took the same cab, I dropped her off at Bedok North. Both of us felt so nauseating while in the cab. Once I got home, took my ZoZo's potty and puke all my dinner out. Yucks!!!
Day 2 - Theory Training
So much for my first day training. Interesting, fun, hot and tired. Today is just theory training. Damn dry and tiring. On what Archibus lah, Pricing and Utilisation lah, Risk Management lah, etc etc....sianz man.....the first half was so boring. Fortunately 2nd half of the day was by Shana and Eng Mui. We crowded around them in U-shape seats setting without tables. At least their sessions were more of experience sharing rather then theory. Seriouly nothing much today.

By 530pm, we ended the day. We all took separate cab home. Walao super jam siah. Today's cab driver was worst. Uncle just jerk and jerk and jerk. Until I told him I was vomitting soon as I have motion sickness. All he said was, "ok then don't talk so much, if not air go in".....walao, wat I was expecting was for him to drive smoothly and not tell me that!!! Went home, didnt even have dinner, but I puke all my lunch out.....Yucks Yucks Yucks!!!!
Was getting late, as I spent my time puking at home. Quickly rush down at 8+pm. Finally decided to get books for them. No time to think liao. Was not easy to get oso hor.....was flipping through and walking here and there to see which is the best for them. Finally was almost 9+, then I manage to get them the books. All other shops were closing, wanted to get wrapper for the books, klkk all don't have a proper one. Shops starts to close liao. So Dar suggested to go Giant since there close at 12am. When we were almost reaching, I realised something was amiss, don't know why the "Giant" lights were switch off. Almost 10pm liao, was telling myself, better not be stock taking day. Parked the car, went down, saw people still going up, heng ah, it's open leh, who knows we saw the notice, "10pm close for stock taking". @#$%^&*()(*&^%$ tio beh pio oso not so jun, tmd, when we went up the security told us, close liao close liao, doing stock taking. We were trying to negotiate with him and see if we can just grab some wrappers, but too bad, that section was already closed and staff has started counting the stock. Duhz......
Forget it lah, lucky I have some wrappers at home, just that don't know if it's appropriate for the occasion or not. Boh pian liao lah, lucky I have some different designs to wrap the books up for them.....what a night.....
Day 3 - JLL Idol
All countries will have a rep to present our AFM onboarding Tool we have all prepared for this JLL Idol. Whoever got the most votes from all the countries folks who will be watching it on Live meeting will get to send their votes to DoDo and Terri. Farrah was our appointed person who will be our Singapore JLL Idol to present our plan. I'm too good to present lah, so confirm will win wan...so give others a chance lah...fwahahaha...hey hey...monthly I conduct trainings wan leh, of cos my presentation skills will be better lah. Gota be fair mah, cos most of other sites AFMs/FCs has never presented before, so if I would really be there one, confirm I stand a better chance mah hor hor hor.....kekeke....

So as others were presenting, I was giving Farrah tips and tricks on what to say and what to do. Shana was so excited that she kept thinking our plan was the BEST and Singapore stands the highest chance to win. Stress man..... anyway.... the last person to present was Brandon from Guangzhou, he was really the most cool person. Throughout the whole day, he did not even have any notes with him to memorise his script and also he did not take down any notes from other country reps who was presenting. Naturally he presented himself most at ease and he got the most votes. So he was our JLL Idol!!!

The session ended with Peter Smyth giving us his expectations from us. Well, everyone training sure ends with expectations from our Directors and Bosses lah. Think so easy meh....just train for fun niah ah...train liao must improve ourselves wan hor....
After these 3 days, our love for everyone in the "family" has grown trememdously. Especially PaPa DoDo, we were so touch by the video clip he has put up for us. He has truly inspired us with "The Station".......I will always be reminded by what I have learnt....

Week of 7th - 13th Apr - Phase 5 Move
Since when im not busy wan....duno lag for how long den i update my post again. Aiya, guess it's excuse only lah, getting lazy liao...fwahahaha....
Well, it's true lately our team have been damn busy with work. We just completed our Phase 5 move. Short of manpower super siong. Without our super move assistance Farhana and Faraqin, work has doubled up on everyone. Lucky Rozi is our super move queen, if not sure die standing.
Fortunately, this move is not as big as the previous ones, still manageable. After 14f folks move up, the whole floor will only be left with our team and DHL team. So lonely.....and spooky....
Talking about spooky......things were happening during the move....woooooooo.....Our movers heard, our team saw, heard and encounter them....even Shahin (from Crown contractors) told some stories....well...it's over, shan't mentioned about it anymore....
They are harmless anyway. I guess they have been there for years.....so don't bother lah...Well this move was another great success story to add to our IPMP (aiya 1 of those 2xs yearly self assessment thingy, compulsory wan, no do no bonus). Not that bonus is damn good, this is part of our job scope, die die must write wan.....sickening....

First MRT ride
Last nite got home late. Went out for dinner. Came back took over from Diana and play majong with Jie, DarDar and Kenny till 4am. Of cos, I'm the big winner...hiak..hiak..hiak...
ZoZo again didn't sleep until almost 12am again loh.....after we finished the game at 4am, he woke up again and was cranky loh....he just want mum to carry him. Only when she carries him then he will stop crying. I really have got no clue what to do with him. I was too tired, so I just slept. Let DarDar and Mum to gao dim him. Mum must be so tired and definitely more more more tired den we do, but her uncondition love towards ZoZo simply surpass us.
By the time we woke up, ZoZo was awake already. Mum was again looking after him since morning. If I'm not wrong, he must have slept with Mum when he was cranky at 4am. Mum already arranged for her usual weekend majong session, but today is at Aunty Elsie's new house in AMK. She didn't want to go initially as she was worried about ZoZo. Of cos, I cant let mum take care of him 24hrs lah, gota let her have some of her leisure time and relax her mind by giving her the time to go for her only favourite game. So I told her to just go ahead and we will take care of him.
I fetch mum go AMK, together with ZoZo and Mini. So that to let him go gaigai look see look see lah, since he has been so cranky lately. During the journey, at least he took almost an hour nap. When we got home, I quickly prepared to feed him porridge and bathe him as we planned to go Taka shopping.
Parked the car at Novena Square and took a the train down to Orchard Road. It's ZoZo FIRST time taking the MRT. He's always very excited and amazed when we travel up or down the escalator. In the MRT, when the door opens, he would want to get out of the train. Maybe he thought we are in the lift. When door opens must get out wan mah....so when we didn't he will start to "googoo gaga" nags and gesture us to get out.
My plan was to shop at Taka since I have so many vouchers from my buddies (gift to ZoZo for his 1st birthday). Shop awhile only, we were both hungry liao, so went to our usual foodchain...Mac Donald's again loh....(ZoZo's favourite mah) to have our lunch cum dinner. Happily he was eating his favourite loti and biscuit at Mac. Feed him milk before we wanted to continue with our shopping, but he fell asleep le. So we decided to go home. Boring hor, firstly we we are kinda tired le, secondly, Liverpools's game is at 745pm tonite, so gota rush home for DarDar's game loh.

Of cos, I cant let mum take care of him 24hrs lah, gota let her have some of her leisure time and relax her mind by giving her the time to go for her only favourite game. So I told her to just go ahead and we will take care of him.
I fetch mum go AMK, together with ZoZo and Mini. So that to let him go gaigai look see look see lah, since he has been so cranky lately. During the journey, at least he took almost an hour nap. When we got home, I quickly prepared to feed him porridge and bathe him as we planned to go Taka shopping.
Parked the car at Novena Square and took a the train down to Orchard Road. It's ZoZo FIRST time taking the MRT. He's always very excited and amazed when we travel up or down the escalator. In the MRT, when the door opens, he would want to get out of the train. Maybe he thought we are in the lift. When door opens must get out wan mah....so when we didn't he will start to "googoo gaga" nags and gesture us to get out.
My plan was to shop at Taka since I have so many vouchers from my buddies (gift to ZoZo for his 1st birthday). Shop awhile only, we were both hungry liao, so went to our usual foodchain...Mac Donald's again loh....(ZoZo's favourite mah) to have our lunch cum dinner. Happily he was eating his favourite loti and biscuit at Mac. Feed him milk before we wanted to continue with our shopping, but he fell asleep le. So we decided to go home. Boring hor, firstly we we are kinda tired le, secondly, Liverpools's game is at 745pm tonite, so gota rush home for DarDar's game loh.

Happy Birthday Darling ZoZo
My darling ZoZo is officially 1 year old le! Both DarDar and myself took leave and plan to take him out shopping. But in the end we only went Si Ma Lu Guan Yin Temple and pray pray for him only. And went home slept the whole afternoon.
Don't why lah....ever since he came back from hospital or duno isit the chalet, he has been kinda cranky and cry more. He didn't use to such a cry baby de....now especially at nite, he doesn't even want to sleep in his yaoyao...put him in he cry and cry and struggle and struggle. His day time nap also all upside down. He doesn't sleep as much anymore, and at nite worse, doesn't even want to sleep until almost 12am.
He just want mum to carry him klkk den he sleep. Past few nites, confirm 4am+ sure wake up and cry. This cannot, that cannot, mumumumumum....but when gives him the milk he pushes it away, just cry and figet. Haiz....really duno wat to do....datz y today early morning woke up mum say bring him go pray pray. Duno isit saw "something" or not lah....so by he time we left house was about 11+am le. Went Guan Yin temple pray pray, took charm for him and the uncle advise to stamp on the back of his tee-shirt (some prayers thingy lah) so as to protect him.
After the prayers, we went to the opp hawker center and had our lunch. Mum and I had the char kway teow and DarDar had the curry noodle. Guess we were kinda hungry, hence, all food taste good. Not much mood to go anywhere lah since ZoZo hasn't been sleeping well lately.
So we before we get home, we dropped mum to go perm her hair. 3 of us went home, slept from 230pm til almost 530pm. DarDar, myself and ZoZo was exhausted le...from all the late nites. He's already such a slim baby, coupled with him not eating and sleeping well lately, he lost even more weight....haiz....
When we woke up, we quickly feed him with some porridge. Recently he has more and more pattern liao, eat halfway on his highchair, he will start to struggle to get down and play with his toys and eat at the same time. What to do, most of the time he gets what he wants. If not he will start wailing and screaming, so popo confirm chop chop sure give in the. Haiya...I have been too busy with work lately, until i oso close one eye, boh chup liao lah...But if I start to snap again, confirm he sure get it from me de loh.
Apart from going to the temple, we were advise to go pray pray the chalet area, if not at the crossroad junction also can. So mum and I actually drove to the chalet and check it out and see if we can burn some incense papers and do some small prayers there....of cos cannot loh, expected wan lah....That uncle was quite ok, but I guess the office staff were still around, so he said better not.
Well, so we went home and did the prayers at the crossroad junction loh, hopefully, if ZoZo really kena anything form "something", hope that the prayers will help to chase way whatever that has followed him home and caused him to be so cranky...
Mum was saying perhaps he "shou bu qi" the big celebration, that causes all these. Things will be ok after awhile.....haiz....anwayz...Happy Birthday To You Darling ZoZo....

ZoZo First Birthday Bash
Super tired, but finally the day has arrived after 3months of prep. My darling ZoZo's 1st birthday bash! We decided to celebrate on the 29 Mar 2008, Sat at Aloha Loyang Terrace 8, Hop Tree. Booked this bungalow chalet 3 months ago, when it's open for bookings. Must jun jun 12am jiu book de, cos after 5min all fully book liao....wakaoz...so popular rite.
Fortunately we decided to check in on 28 Mar, Fri so that we have 1 day before for preparation. So to book for 28 and 29 Mar, on the 27 Dec jun jun 12am, I have to clicked on the website to make the bookings. Damn kan cheong. Heng ah..was able to secure my bookings.

Of cos I have to take leave today as I need to check in from 3pm onwards. DarDar has a whole day budget forecast review, so cannot take leave to check in with me.
Target to leave house by 230pm with Mini so that we can go disinfect the place before the arrival of my lil precious prince. Who know's so much things to pack....machiam the whole house baby barang all packed go chalet lidat. ZoZo things alone already occupied 1 big luggage (kiasu hor...) aiya...baby barangs seriously is more then adults wan loh....we literally move his mobile cradle to the chalet, milk bottle steriliser, slow cooker for his porridge, 1 whole tin of his milk powder, 1 big pack of diapers, some of his favourite toys, CD player and few of his favourite children's songs CD, and duno how many sets of clothes lah...(cos lemon lee says to take his xie zhen pix mah, wants me to change him so that he can take more)...
In the end didn't manage to leave house to check in early. So I went Tampines central to do my last minute bank payments first, went Kiddy Palace to buy his whale float and beach ball. Finally when Diana is back from her class (new course for her biz with Tham) then we left to check in at 5pm+. Auntie Rebecca was already there waiting for us. Diana and Mini went home again to take 2nd round of our luggages and barang the food for the nite's BBQ.
Auntie Rebecca and I stayed to light the fire and prepare the goodie packs for the kids. Since we were so free, we decided to pump the float and beach ball....wakaoz.....almost fainted by the time we finish pumping the air in. The beach ball took us about 10mins and the float more then 30min, my hands was so "sour" (suan) until no words can describe.
By 7+ Patrick, Annie, Aloysious and LeLe arrived. We have reserved a room for them to stay for the 2 nites as well. Followed by Charles and his parents arrived too, as we invited them for the small BBQ session we planned. Food also havent arrived almost everyone arrived le. Finally Diana and Jie came back with the food. So we quickly started to BBQ-ing. DarDar went home to fetch Mum, ZoZo and Mini. As my prince had his nap until 7pm, wait for him to have his milk then go over to the chalet.
Was a nite of preparation for the next day big bash....Charles parents leave after the BBQ. We realised there are still some barangs didnt bring from home, and also not enuff mattress for the nite. DarDar, myself, Annie and Mini went back home to take the missing items, and I took the chance to take shower from home then go back chalet. Diana, Jie and Aunty Rebecca went to her house to take the extra mattress for the nite.
It's almost 11pm liao, we finally started to pump the ballons and start decorating the chalet. Nothing much lah, just some balloons for the whole chalet already shacked us all out....cos pumping them was not easy. Requires alot of enery wan hor, anyway I wasn't the one pumping, was Annie and Mini..hiak hiak hiak...I did the tying of ballons and climb up and down the chairs and stairs to tie and decorate the place ok...
ZoZo almost 12am still mai koon..guess he was as excited for his 1st birthday bash as well.....finally everyone was tired le....so all went to ZZZzzzzZZZZZ.....

Woke up as early as 8am. Cos ZoZo woke up and mumumumumum....loh...he was hungry le, so we all may as well wake up to see if there's any last minute preparation to do. After breakfast, we changed him into his swimminig gear...aiyo so cute....his first time swimming lesson at Aloha Loyang!! He was enjoying so much until he didn't want to get out from the pool. He just loves the water!!! See below pics...

huh?!!! going back liao??? aiya...dun wan...After the swim, DarDar and me quickly take ZoZo go shower and change into something simplet to let him have his porridge first. Not long after my super photographer arrived. He was kinda hungry so Annie prepare a butter sandwich for him (he just wanted butter and bread) to ease his hunger first. Raymond started snapping shots of ZoZo having lunch, etc etc for the whole event until late afternoon then he left for another gathering at Aljunied. Not bad liao leh, he didnt charge me a single cent for his service. THANKS RAYMOND!!!
After his porridege, we quickly go change him into his birthday suit le!! Of cos not the naked wan lah....it's the Osh Kosh Tee and ZoZo's First Levi's Jeans!!! Cute hor...haha...thick-skin!!! Of cos lah, my son leh.....Before more guests arrived, I quickly feed him with some milk first to dong longer hours....
DarDar left at 11+ to go pick my MIL, Sanjie, Jason, Jansen and Xavier. They detour over to AMK Pine Garden to collect ZoZo birthday cake as well. He came back kinda late. By the time he was back, his frenz BC and son, Edwin and family already came and left.
My first guest from the list was Linda Tan and her 2 kids, Grace and Gabriel and her domestic helper. Guest arrived le, again food also hvnt arrived! Anyway heng was Linda niah...heehee...her 2 kids were happily playing with Aloysius and LeLe. Finally my food arrived le. Briyani by the time they set up was almost 1pm, Kim's Kitchen was almost 1.15pm. The food looks yummy......
Gradually the guests started coming around 1pm onwards....started busy entertaining the guests here and there, receiving the gifts, busy tucking in the ang pao into my pocket, was afraid I may left it somewhere or even drop it. So as and when I will go put into my red lucky zipper bag. As time goes by, when more guests arrived, I luanz le, duno who to entertain. Here tok tok abit, there tok tok abit, machiam mama san lidat, didnt even have time to have our lunch.
We were both so busy entertaining frenz. I only had abit of the chinese food. The briyani I didnt even have the chance to taste it. But everyone had good feedback on both the caterers' food was GOOD!!! Yeah...!!! 3pm came, we started to prepare to the cake cutting ceremony. Tried to gather everyone together. The cake was so beautiful and fits the invitation theme. DarDar is fanatic Liverpool fan, most of his bros and nieces, 1 of them is Weiling, are all supporters of Liverpool, Shixian idea of the invitation even had the Liverpool THANKS SHIXIAN!!!, and my son's name, has is also link to the team, of cos my cake has a Liverpool logo on it lah!!!
ZoZo was super cranky. Since morning until the whole afternoon, he didn't even take a nap. He was so excited seeing so many people until he has no mood to take his pm nap. So when we wanted to cut the cake, he started figeting and getting alittle frustrated, then I realised we have yet to feed him!!! His feeding time has long over...!!! No wonder lah, tired and hungry makes a angry baby loh....so no choice gota have half time also. Heng ah, Weiling and Shixian came in time for the cake cutting. Weiling even designed a very very very nice big picture frame of ZoZo from birth till now. THANKS LING!!! After taking several pics, quickly take a 10-15mins break for him to drink his milk first....fwahahaha.....lidat oso can hor...boh pian lah...he's the biggest liao for the day, of cos everyone has to give in to him loh....
After his milk finally he was kinda subtle already. But again when we wanted to blow the candles after the birthday song, he wanted to use his hand and grab the fire instead of blowing it siah...wakaoz perform stunts leh my boy...so young wana perform liao....haiz....LOLx....we just did a quick one lah, blew the candle and quickly pass him over to mum to hoax him to sleep.
The chaos starts again, busy cutting and apportioning the cake, making sure at least everyone has a chance to have a piece. My duty was just to cut the cake, dun ask me go around serving them, I will faint. Annie, Diana and DarDar was helping me to serve the guest. Another good feedback on the cake now. GOOD!!! The cake taste GOOD!!! Lucky in the end selected this place, price is economic and quality is good. Design is good as well. So mai hiam liao loh....lucky never spend a bomb on the The Patissier. Well, yi fen qian, yi fen huo, but to me Pine Gardens quality is really good enuff le.
Guests come and go all the way until almost 8pm. Left with only DarDar's family members. My food all clear leh....no bad hor...at least no leftovers to tapao and eat until next day.....i didnt even have the appetite to eat dinner....was too tired and the weather was too hot le. Sunny day better then rainy day lah....Well since the buffet food was all cleared, but was not enough for ourselves and DarDar's family. So we took out the nite before BBQ food and Mum, Jie and Diana went Tampines to get more food back to BBQ.
It was a super tiring day, had a long long day...I didn't even have much chance to take pic with my darling ZoZo. Raymond set up a backdrop using the room curtains to take lotsa pics for him. ZoZo starts to get cranky le. He doesnt want to sleep the yaolan and also doesn't want to sleep. Until 12+am mum ask me to takeover her majong while she make baby sleep. Haiz...only when he smell the popo bawu den he sleep....bth him.....
THANK YOU to all my guests, frenz, buddies, best frenz, close frenz, relatives, etc etc....for your presence and presents. It's your presence that made the party/bash happened. Hope you all enjoyed the party, food and the time together. Sorry for not being able to entertain or if we have missed out noticing your presence, we would like to apologise. As we were really too occupied until we even didnt have much time looking after our dearest Prince Alonzo.....
